Privacy Policy

According to the article 19 Nº 4 of the Political Constitution of the Republic, and to the pertinent norms of the Law Nº 19,628 , on protection of the private life and its later modifications. The personal data processing that is made in www.minvu.cl of The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism, are governed by the following rules:

Ministry of Housing and Urbanism assures the confidentiality of the personal data of those who register like such in the Web site www.minvu.cl, by using the forms settled for those effects. Without damage of its legal faculties,  The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism will respect only to carry out personal data processing, which has been given voluntarily by the Users in the referred form.

The personal data of the Users will be used for the fulfillment of the aims indicated in the corresponding form, and always within the competition and attributions of  The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism.

The personal data of the Users will be object of the treatments stipulated in  Law 19.628 on Protection of Private  Life,  or Protection of Personal Character data, according to what has been declared before the Registry of Databases that the Civil Registry of Identification service maintains , which can be consulted in http://rbdp.srcei.cl/rbdp/

The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism will be able to communicate to other organisms of the State, the personal data of its users, in agreement to the established effect in Law 19.628.

The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism, in case of being judicially required to the effect, will communicate the personal data of the users who are asked for it.

Ministry of House and Urbanism will be able to communicate to others statistical information made up from the personal data of its users, without the express consent of the holder, when in  these data,  it is not possible to individually  identify the holders,  on conformity to the Law.

The User will be able at any moment to exert the rights granted by the Law Nº 19,628 and its  later modifications.  Specifically, it will be able:

a.
To ask for information respect to the data banks for which the organism is responsible of, the legal foundation of  its existence, its purpose,  kind of stored data, and description of the universe of people that it includes.
b. To ask for information on the data relative to a  person, its origin and addressee, the intention of the storage, and individualization of the people or organism, to which their data are transmitted regularly;
c. Solicit to modify  their personal data when its not correct or  when its not updated, if it will be originating;
d. To ask for the elimination or cancellation of the given data when it wishes, as much it will be originating;
e. To solicit, according to what is established in Law 19,628, copy of the altered registry in the pertinent part, if that’s the case; and,
f. To oppose that their personal data will be used for statistical aims

To exert its rights, the User will be able contact at contactenos1@minvu.cl, clearly indicating its request.

In case of not receiving any answer to its previous communication, within a term of 10 working days, it will be able to initiate the corresponding legal actions, which will have to be interposed against the person in charge of the treatment that is indicated next:

a. Responsible name
b. Position
c. Address and zip code
d. E mail
e. Phone - Fax

About the recollection of data and data processing made by means of automated mechanisms, with the intention of generating registries of activity of visitors and registries of audience. The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism will only be able to use this information for the elaboration of information that fulfills the indicated objectives. In no case, it will be able to conduct operations that imply to associate this information, to some identified or unidentified user.

For the effects of the present “ Privacy Policy”, its understood by User, the person who voluntarily registers in www.minvu.cl in the forms specially settled for those means. In as much, a Visitor is that person who freely accedes to the information available in www.minvu.cl, with no need to register itself previously.
